How to quickly dry winter shoes?

Good quality shoes is not cheap and not everyone can afford to have several pairs of season, therefore, after wetting it from the inside, it becomes necessary to dry it in order to be able to go out again in comfort and dryness. Almost any shoe can be deformed due to moisture and water in the winter season, so it is very important not only to take it off your feet faster, but also to dry it, following the advice:
- Remove all water from the top using a soft cloth.
- Dry in a well ventilated area.
- Remove wet insoles.
- Open your shoes as far as possible.
Drying shoes at home is unacceptable near heating appliances and open flames, because the product may deform, cracks may appear on the surface, and the sole will peel off. It is also not recommended to dry sneakers on a battery, as they are also in danger of deformation, you can just leave them under the radiator for a while.
How to dry: ways and means
If you have waterproof shoes, you need to worry about how to dry them as quickly as possible, but as efficiently as possible. But if this is not the case, then you can quickly dry your shoes at home in several simple but effective ways, using:
- The newspaper, which needs to be crumpled and tightly rammed into the inside of the product, and it is better to wrap the upper part in several layers. In this way, you can dry the boots inside during the night, but at the same time you need to make sure that there are no drawings on the newspaper, minimal ink, and it will have to be changed every few hours.
- Salt spread over a pan and then heated. Warming up the salt, it is poured into a stocking and placed inside. Such a tool that absorbs moisture in shoes needs to be changed as the main component cools down. Helpful Hint: If your shoes get wet during a picnic, you can use coals from a campfire instead of salt, but you risk staining the inside.
- Fig. Drying shoes with rice involves immersing a wet product in dry grits with the soles up. The process in this case should last at least 4 hours.
- Heated floor. To quickly dry your boots, you just need to place them on a warm floor and wait for them to dry completely. This method is especially good for products made from natural materials, as they warm up evenly without deforming.
- A dryer. You can remove moisture from shoes with an electric dryer, a blower or ultraviolet-based device.
- Cat litter based on – silica gel. To quickly dry your sneakers, just pour the filler into the sock and press it inside for a while.
- A machine for drying clothes. To dry, for example, shoes for extreme temperatures, you need to untie the laces and place the male type of products in the device with the sole to the front side, leaving the laces outside, and it is advisable to place several towels in the drum itself.
- A fan that can dry snowdrift shoes with leather or gel soles. For the process, you will need to make two hooks from wire and place them on the fan grill, installing the wet products themselves on them. By turning on the fan and waiting a few hours, you can see the result in the form of complete drying of wet shoes.
- Shoe dryer. This is a special device powered by electricity, which is placed inside the product and left there for a certain time. In this way, you can dry the product completely without deforming it, after which you can safely put on shoes on wet snow, slush, puddles.
